Does anyone know anything about how to find out how to find out who belongs to a cell phone number?? I keep finding sites that charge but is there any free sites out there that I dont know about..I paid for one but it says the number is unlisted..can I still find out someone…any advice helps alot!!

May 26th, 2009 at 2:01 amThere are no truly free sites as cell phone records are NOT public records. To get the information requires that records searches be performed by a legitimate agency and they DO charge for this. You will find all kinds of sites that claim to be "free" but all you will get for free is the city and state. I have tried my personal cell phone number in many of these sites and they do not give correct info even at that. They usually come back and tell me that it is a landline number, which I know it is not

May 26th, 2009 at 2:01 amLike the previous psted noted, unless the number is public domain, then you will need to use a pay site. I usually end up using http://www.whotheheckcalledme.com as it is a great, fast site.

okay, this number keeps pranking me. i got the number. but does anyone know a free site that i can look up cell phone numbers on? i’ve searched, but they all want money! i just want to find out who it is. thanks.

March 20th, 2009 at 8:20 amThe best (free) that I've found will only give the company that the prefix is assigned to. Otherwise, there's plenty of sites out there that you can get the info for a fee.

In the U.S, reverse phone lookups are not available for wireless numbers. They are still considered private numbers.

There aren't any free ways to find out who a cell phone number belongs to.
They charge you because the directories have to pay for that information. I found a site that gives great information on the cell phone owner.
It's a paid site, though. It's worth it if you really need the information.
