I’ve been getting harassing phone calls from people, and I want to know if there is a way to find out what the number is? Or is there a way to block restricted calls on a cell phone all together? I’m really sick of all the harassment I get. Please let me know.

well i went to some websites and most of them want you to pay money to get it check out, but maybe you should change your number
this is from the website:
A year ago I started receiving blocked phone calls on my cell phone. These phone calls later became threatening. When I changed my cell phone number the same person started blocking their number and calling my house phone. Later, this person found out the new cell phone number that replaced my old one. I have no idea how and I later changed that number as well. I think I know who was doing this. This person started leaving letters at my home. I did not want to get the police involved since I had no proof as to who was doing this. I called Verizon, my phone carrier, and asked if they could identify the unknown/blocked calls. I was told several times that I would have to get a court order before they could give any information. Do you know if there’s another way that I can trace these calls, or if it’s even too late for the phone company to identify the unknown calls? Any information or advice that you have would be helpful.
Thank you.

Hi E -
It’s unfortunate that someone at Verizon told you that you could actually get the information on a blocked call through a court order. That is actually not true. When a call is blocked, it cannot be traced and the caller ID cannot be provided, even with a court order. Every person has a right to block their number and no court order can provide this information. The carriers don’t have the information and no one else does either. When the caller ID is blocked, it is not passed through the system, period. Unfortunately, you cannot trace or identify blocked calls. Since this harrassment has been going on for such a long time, I personally would recommend getting the police involved. There is no reason that you should be harrassed. Though they cannot trace the blocked calls, they may have other ways to figure out who is doing this to you especially if you do suspect someone. They could always get the records of their calls and your number would show up on their end since they called you. I hope this helps and I hope that you are able to get this harrassment stopped. Please let me know if there is anything else that I can do. Thanks. DebiN

The first step to trace a mobile phone number is to head over to ReversePhoneDetective.com. he second step to trace a cell phone number is to simply enter the phone number you’re trying to trace. Then, ReversePhoneDetective.com will dig through its massive database of phone numbers to trace the one you’re searching for! Now, you will see a screen that shows the City & State the phone number is from. At this step, you will decide on a purchase option. If you just want to do this report, and no NOT need any other phone numbers to be traced for you.
