I did look Burma directory sites, but it did not turn up in the searches. Anyway someone can call from a fake number?

    Be careful about calling numbers you're not familiar with. There are many scams that exist that rely on the fact that the receiver of the call is not aware of the complexities involved in making long distance phone calls, and you could be charged an astronomical price for the call.

    The number you got the call from could be from a solicitor, if you don't recognize the number you can either answer it or not, but you should never call it back, and never give your personal information without validated their purpose or identity. In my opinion, if it's someone I should talk to, they will at least leave a message. I know that there is an option to have a telephone number of a company's choice show in the receiver's caller id, so this could be a way of masking the sender's identity.
